Oprah was on Dr Oz telling how she lost a 40+ lbs on Weight Watchers. She said they called her. She didn't mention that before joining WW and being their spokesperson, she invested a very large amount of money into their stocks. Smart!!!

Oprah has yo-yo'd her whole life, I doubt if she will ever be able to keep it off. She's a self-admitted bread lover.

I find it's a bit of hypocrisy.

Exactly!!! Or that she has a personal chef and trainer. It's ALL about the $ with her.

Good Lord, I thought I was the only one on the planet not in absolute awe or adoration of her. So we are at least two! lol

How interesting...I thought I was the only one that just didn't care for her! As for WW, lots of people have lost weight using it. It's just another tool, another way of doing things. Many like the meetings and support, the structure and accountability. For some, paying for it is incentive to keep going (one of the things that keeps me from smoking is the cost of cigs now). As with most things, the advice from celebrities doesn't sway me. I'm much more apt to listen and take in what you all on FS has to say. I feel much more connected on here than I do to a zillionaire pretending to be "one of the guys"!
