Yah it is really starting to fall off now! Go me!

This is one tough diet to follow. Not due to the amount of food you get to eat or what it is in what in quantity. Rather what is difficult is for me to conquer the beast within that wants for all that sugary and refined foods that made me obese to begin with.

Do I still crave all that stuff...absolutely! Do I cheat...YES...I am working on perfection. However, at this stage in my life I will accept myself for what I can achieve. Taking it one day at a time and one meal at a time helps.

I have learned to forgive myself for not being perfect. I have also learned how to extend me grace when it is needed. These things aren't easy. Especially when programmed to do certain things.

Growing up it was "You better finish all the food on your plate!" Negative thoughts and affirmations don't help. These things have to be put away.

A lot of personal reflection has to take place when deciding to conquer the beast within. Examining emotional eating is hard to do.
