I'm disabled due to severe spinal problems and several spinal surgeries & fusions. I'm retired because of that. The last fusion wasn't successful, and about 2 years ago I fell dead on the edge of a concrete step, now when I walk I feel grinding & grating, suspect I broke a fusion loose. That's why I cannot exercise whatsoever. When I was younger was raised on a farm working hard while was developing & growing up, I had a LOT of muscle, worked out as well as having a strenuous lifestyle, and prided myself on my strength. Even after being retired almost 10 years and NO exercise or working out of any kind, I still have decent muscle mass and tone under all the fat. Since I live a VERY sedentary lifestyle with no exercise I figure to attempt to keep my intake to no more than 1,200 calories total per day, and low carb and low fat in that. To get my back hopefully fixed, they have to try to refuze 5 vertebrae, and want me at 200 pounds, but with my big bones and muscle mass I still have, 200 pounds and I'd look dead! I found that out when I had pneumonia and couldn't eat for a month, spending 2 weeks in the hospital.
