I am on day 34 of my juice fast. I have lost 32 pounds. Monday the 25th I will break my fast at Passover. At sundown I will eat my first meal. I am excited & yet scared to. It has been so long since I have ate real food. My body is so use to drinking it's meals. I'm not for sure how my body is going to react to solid food. I am going to take it slowly. I will have fresh veggie juice on hand in case I start to feel sick. I am going to eat a piece of fruit at first to see how I do. Them later on I will eat some grilled sockeye salmon & some mustard & collard greens. I will also have some oven roasted broccoli with fresh basil & thyme. A little of baked sweet potatoes with fresh rosemary. I doubt I will be able to eat all of this but it is part of my Passover meal for me & my family. I will also have some chicken curry & for dessert a fresh fruit tart but instead of cream cheese as the filling I am doing a fresh vegan lemon custard filling. I will probably only be able to take a couple of bites & be full. I am so full on just drinking 3 juices a day. I hope everyone keeps up the hard work. Let's get healthy together. I am teaching myself that healthy looks better than being skinny. That has helped me out a lot. There are days that I get frustrated that the scale is not moving but then I remember this & it makes me push even harder in my workouts. I have been doing so much research on clean eating & one thing I found out is that when your body plateaus it doesn't mean that your body isn't working. For people who are obese and more your body will plateau it is trying to get rid of the visceral fat that is around the heart & your other major organs. The body is also restructuring the fat around in your body. Moving to other places so it can be burned up more easily. I never knew that. So now I am not as frustrated when the scale doesn't move for a couple of days. I know my body is getting healthy from the inside. I hope everyone has a great weekend & keep striving to get healthy. Sorry the journal was so long I just finally get how the body works & how certain foods help it & why. To me my eyes are just opening for the first time & it is so exciting.

I am on day 30 of my juice fast & I still feel great. I have lost a total of 30 pounds as of this morning. My blood pressure is still going down. I have so much energy. I now get up at 4am every morning & workout for 48 min. Then in the evening I do 40min to an hour of weightlifting 3 days a week or I do an hour water interval resistance training class. I try to sneak in an additional 20 min. of cardio on the bike or the treadmill. I have went from a super tight 24 pants to now a lose 22 pants size in a month. Well tomorrow I will have completed 30 days. Today is the 30th day. Next Monday I will eat my first piece of food in 36 days. I can't believe how far I have come in 30 short days.

I am feeling great. I have started lifting weights to help tone & build muscle. I am on day 23 of my fast. I have 14 days left before I am done. The weight seems like it is melting off & I am so happy. After my fast I am going to continue with clean eating & still juicing throughout the day.

I have finished 10 days of my juice fast. Today makes the 11th day. I have lost 17 pounds, I feel great. I have lots of energy & my complexion has cleared up drastically. I am going to keep going. I encourage everyone to get more fresh veggies & fruit into their life. The effects are amazing. I have also dropped 40 points in my blood pressure. I clove of fresh garlic in my veggie juice & another one at night has helped. The weight loss has helped as well. I hope everyone has a great day.

I'm feeling great today. Since I have started my juice fast 9 days ago I have lost 16 pounds & my blood pressure has dropped 35 points. I have more energy then I know what to do with. Yesterday I did 3/4 of a mile on the treadmill on a 3.7 & I did 3.25 miles on the bike on resistance 4. I did all this in 30 minutes. I encourage everyone to start adding fresh juice to their diets on a daily basis. You will be amazed at how well your body will feel & if you have any medical conditions then you will start to slowly see them get better. If you start juicing remember the rule. 80% veggies & 20% fruit. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend & I hope the start of the week is amazing.
