After a solo forest hike of 37 km in two days (13+24) with 40-45 pounds of stuff on my back, I came home Tuesday night and the scale told me I was 185. I had lost about 10 pounds in two days... But guess what, yesterday night I was back at around 193, that is amazing how water weights a lot!
That trip was awesome, I thought I'd die (never really, but at some point the pain was very real), I thought I'd abandon and I thought about my wife, my kids and my life.
I'm very proud of my success (in the bush) and it motivates me for more on the scale!
