Happy hump Wednesday to our community! I gave my double, red blood donation yesterday. I always hope, that there is a possibly, I saved a life. At one time, I gave "babies blood", being antigen pure, but they need more blood now. So I give a double dose. It helps to be large, also, as the loss of a pint of red cells can be impossible for smaller people. I felt great, and they said my iron levels were very high, so my diet is paying off. Once they told me my blood had been used for a shot, police officer, so it made me more committed. I now can give another double, donation in 112 days. Have a great day, everyone! I read the story, she started getting fat again after gastric bypass surgery because she was eating less of the wrong foods. I always roll my eyes at huge success stories like hers because the only reason she's getting publicity is because she's trying to bank off of it, and will end up pushing an agenda, one way or the other. Glad she lost the weight, good luck to her in the future. On another note, you've inspired me to look into donating blood, I haven't in a long time.

Keto was "the one thing that worked", big shock, right? lol Yeah, I'll absolutely look into donating, I think they turned me down the last time I tried because I take blood pressure meds.

Yep, it is getting really tough to even fit their criteria for giving blood. Latest is living near Zika areas.

I, for one, am so glad that I found keto before committing to the surgery. I wouldn't have known about it if it wasn't for you guys here on FS, but it has changed my life for the better. Now, all of my family members that have had the surgery are coming to me asking me how to do keto because they are packing the weight back on. Shout out to you for donating blood!!!

So I go to the gym, and some dweeby guy in a Dodger baseball cap, comes over to the machine next to me, with the hottest, Asian girl, I have ever seen. I have never even talked to a girl this scalding HOT. And he has this real serious, macho look the whole time. All I know is maybe I need to get a Dodger cap and become a fan. LOL
