Well have been having a rough couple weeks. For two weeks I followed my diet to a tee and lost nothing. Spoke with my doctor and they suggested I take a weekend and eat whatever I wanted to get my metabolism going in fast gear again. I guess the idea is every other weekend I will be going off my diet for two days so that my body can recharge. They believe it is a mix of my age and the fact that I am so limited with my severe arthritis I have in my knees which keeps me from doing strenuous exercises. I hope this will work. I still have plenty of time to lose the weight for knee replacement surgery but it is still very saddening to have problems like this only 5 weeks into the diet. If anybody has any ideas I would greatly appreciate any advice whatsoever.

Just be careful, moderation is the way to go. I'm finding I can eat real food and enjoy it using portion control. Good luck to you ☺

I have a slow metabolism and knee issues as well. I found portion size and cut the bad suguars from sweet things etc has help considerably...... keep up your faith and it will happen..... slowly and surely it will sneak off. good luck.
