Whew! What a day. Started off with pushup and squat challenge, ran a little with the dog, and then off to Austin for some off-road cycling and then road cycling around Town lake. Finished with late lunch/dinner at Torchy's Tacos and some beer.
Exercise:
AM: Vibram foot fitness, 100-ups, warmup and stretching, pushups W4D3(23/28/23/23/33) - really struggled to get out the minimum on the last set; squats W3D3 (30/38/27/27/150)
Trail run 1.5 miles/18 minutes.
Just realized I jumped from a 7 weeks to 100 pushups program to a 6 week program!
4 miles off-road at Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park and 12 1/2 miles around Town Lake in Austin.

I actually expected to gain a little this morning, since the workouts that last 2 days have been minimal.

Diet -
Breakfast: skipped, just forgot to eat.
Lunch: Dashed home from the office and heated up a hamburger patty and fired 2 eggs w/ muenster and cheddar. Yum.
Dinner: lean pork tacos on whole grain tortillas w/ mole and cole slaw, cauliflower rice, black beans, 1 Blue Moon Winter Abbey ale
Exercise - Light day, sore from the chiropractor yesterday and the 8 solid days of bike-riding. Just the vibram foot exercises, 100-ups in the AM, and a bike ride late this afternoon, plus some rough-housing and running with the pup.

I've been logging my food for 3 weeks now. It's been eye-opening - even recording my food, I still make some poor choices.
Exercise is no longer an issue. Over the last 15 months, I've turned exercise into a habit. Now when I skip a day, I get antsy and nervous.
But I still have bad food habits. I eat past the point of being full, I eat when I'm bored or restless, and I have a hard time saying no to a good burger for lunch.
So starting today, my wife and I are kicking back into Phase 1 of South Beach. She's happy to do because she still wants to lose another 10 pounds. Me, I've got to get better control of my cravings.
So here we go again. I'm now down 70 pounds from where I started; 60 more to go. I'd love to get below 220 before summer.

Diet -
Breakfast - Apple (just not hungry)
Lunch - 3 fajita tacos w/ lettuce and cheese, small serving of beans
Exercise -
AM - Vibram foot fitness, 10-ups, then rode to work
PM - Rode home. Rough-housed with the dog, stretching and some crunches on the inversion table, then squat and pushup challenges.
Challenges -
About 15 minutes wrestling with Herc and throwing his bumper
Squats - W3D1 19/24/19/19/65
Pushups - W4D2 20/25/20/20/28 (jumped from the book to the online program for simplicity)
