This journal is long, so you may need to click on it to see the whole thing. I just want to say you can do this. Just stick with your plan. If you get into a plateau, change something! I made plenty of changes along the way. Change is good. If something does not work for you, do something else. You can figure out what you need to do. My plan: 1) eat a healthy diet, 2) exercise or walk more, 3) get enough sleep, and 4) reduce your stress. Yes, it's not easy, but you can work on it and get better at it and succeed.
I calculated my September weight loss & updated my monthly weight loss total. Thanks to Tulipgirl for getting me to do this every month. :)
January: 1 lb lost - gaining and losing the same five pounds over and over!
February: 9 lbs lost - 5000 steps or 2.5 miles every day!
March: 5.2 lbs lost
April: 6.4 lbs lost
May: 6.2 lbs lost
June: 5.8 lbs lost
July: 5.6 lbs lost
August: 6 lbs lost
September 5.4 lbs lost
Total lost since January 1st: 50.6 lbs!
Notice the February weight loss is way more than other months, because I was walking 5000 steps a day. The more you move, the more you lose. Good luck, everyone! :)

Good news! I accomplished my last mini goal to reach 143 lbs, just a random number between my driver's license weight of 150 lbs and my goal weight of 136 lbs. I am tempted to walk extra and rush into getting there, but I know myself and if I overdo my exercise one day, the next day I won't want to do anything but sit in the chair. So I have to be patient and do it slowly. I am sure that I can get there one of these days. To everyone at FS, keep up the fight to get fit. To my buddies, I apologize for not supporting and commenting on your journals and weigh ins. You are always on my mind, even if I did not contact you. Keep going! You can do this!

Did not lose anything, but today is the final weigh in of The Kitchen is Closed challenge so I wanted to weigh in for that. I'm still going to not eat after dinner. That has become a good habit for me. I forget when I started doing it, but it's been a good two months at least. After dinner I have tea or decaf coffee and sugar free gum. If I want it, I have one piece of sugar free candy, not two or three. If I stay up too late and think I am starving, I eat 3 almonds, brush my teeth and go to sleep. I don't think tea or decaf, sugar free gum, a piece of sugar free candy or 3 almonds violates the no eating after dinner rule. It's just psychological comfort, not a binge.

The other day I was at a healthy website, reading an old article from 15 months ago, an interview of a man who lost so much weight and he mentioned tracking his calories at another website. Other people commented and some asked questions and nobody replied. I decided to make a comment, telling people to come to fatsecret dot com. I said you can read tips from other people who are losing weight and you can ask questions and people will support you and reply to you. I LOVE FatSecret!
