I rebooted a 2 weeks ago. I lost my way due to a lot of stressors in my life. But now I am on track and now I am putting tools in place so I can stay on my path. My gut health has to be priority, especially if I want to continue to drop weight. Healing are bodies is an important piece. For too many years, my mindset has been to diet and do anything to lose weight. Which only lead to yo-yo dieting for a great chunk of my life. Today I know better. Moving forward I will do my best to remember to stay on course and it will get better.

Starting week #10 and a New Month...Hello August. My intent is to feed myself nutritious food that aligns with my current goal. Staying mindful and remembering that this is not a sprint. Being consistent is going to pay off. Here's to doing better. Amen.

So today I weighed in while I was at a doctor's appointment (not for diet reasons) and because it was a good thing- lost 2 pounds-of course I wanted to report it :) haha. I guess I just need some positivity to help me get back to the momentum I had prior to my 6th week. Anyway, I do not want to be unkind with myself. I recognize that self-compassion helps more than bashing on myself for not following my plan 100% perfect. I will do my best moving forward as I said in previous entries.

Week #9...I was going to call this my Reboot week, but what it actually is, a crossroads of sorts. An opportunity to rewrite my story. I know now that more veggies make me feel better. So, it continues and I will focus on each plate being built on veggies, protein, a good fat (avocado) and keeping it SIMPLE. One meal at a time. Consistency is the ticket. I got this. No self-bashing. God is guiding me to my greatest wellness.
